From a medical perspective, it is difficult for some aspects of medicine to be shown as realistically possible. Most would "romanticize" certain things. (Most often in the ER setting like CPR and other emergency Procedures) However, especially in the first few seasons wherein they focused on how they arrive at the diagnosis of each disease, I felt that they tried to show how these diseases could occur as realistically as possible. One of the better medical shows I've seen.
